Welcome To Country Star Poodles
About Us
My love for the poodle breed began when I was young. My Mother owned several over her life time and my mentor who taught me about the pet grooming industry had several of her own as well groomed many poodles who came to her business for grooming services. At a young age I came to appreciate the breed for its intelligence, versitaly , beauty and temperament. My passion as a breeder is to offer poodles that not only have good comformation, but are of sound health. As well as, Poodles that make good family pets, companions or service pets. We live in the country with our poodles and our puppies are hand raised. They have plenty of room to run and develop healthy. I am also a certified Master groomer and the puppies are use to being handled and groomed from a young age.
About the breed:
The Standard Poodle has a graceful, medium-sized frame with a rounded skull, a long head and muzzle, dark oval eyes, and wide, close-hanging ears. They have long legs that give them a springy step, docked tails (usually) and compact feet. The coat is sometimes curly and wiry, sometimes soft, and wavy, and come in a variety of colors.
Standard Poodles can live as long as 15 years.
The Standard Poodle stands 15 inches and taller (usually 22 inches); males weigh 45 to 70 pounds and females weigh 45 to 60 pounds.
Poodles are hypoallergenic dogs. Poodles come in a variety of coat colors. They have a single non-shedding coat. This is unlike most dog breeds who have a double coat. Moreover, a Poodle has hair, not fur. This hair grows continually and is the reason why Poodles need regular brushing and clipping to straighten and keep their hair in a manageable length.
What Are Standard Poodles Like to Live With?
Poodles are clever and lively household companions, adaptable to their environments and are easy to train. Poodles are ideal family dogs, being both patient and playful with children. They also make superb watchdogs, barking zealously when strangers approach the home. Overall, Poodles are eager to please and a lot of fun to be around.

Choosing a puppy is an exciting part of adding a member to your family. There are many things to consider when picking out your puppy. Keep in mind the following points when you go to pick up your new family member:
Health
Country Star poodle puppies are hand raised in a loving environment. Each puppy is given the best care and given lots of attention from adults and grandkids! They are cleaned and groomed regularly and up to date with current vaccines and worming. Each of Country Star Poodles have been both Genetic and Health Testing. All Country Star poodle puppies come with a health guarantee.
Male or Female
Does the sex of your puppy matter to you? There are many obvious differences between male and female dogs, but they can also vary in personality.
Personality
Personality is the most important thing to consider when choosing your puppy. You can learn to love an animal despite its size and gender, but if the personality doesn’t match up to your expectations, you’ll end up an unhappy dog owner. Choosing a Poodle means you’re going to be raising an incredibly intelligent breed. They are rated the #1 most trainable dog of all the breeds, which makes them a top choice for many pet owners. They are also playful and love to be around people. Are you partial to a calm dog, or are you looking for somebody playful? Make a list of qualities that your dream dog will possess and share it with us, and we will be happy to point you in the right direction for a perfect match.
